Red Rock Lakes Nat'l Wildlife Refuge

Visit the Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge from here. It's close and a really great experience. You'll be as close to a wilderness area as you can get in a car. Interesting shore and meadow birds are common, and large mammals are often seen. If you've had a good experience in Yellowstone, but want to get away from people, this is the tour for you. It's about 24 miles to the visitor center from our RV Park, but the refuge starts about 10 miles west of here. (Look at this more complete virtual tour of the Refuge done by our webmaster using 360 panoramas.)
